My name is Mary Brod and I love spreading God's word thru song. .I grew up in a little town called Jellico, Tennessee.
My Mom was a wonderful Christian lady who brought us 5 kids up in church. Dad later became a Christian.
Our church was small, Oswego Missionary Baptist Church, and we had no piano player, but we sang without music, and had a little group that would visit other\ churches and sing.
I am married, have 2 sons, Mike and Eddie and a wonderful husband who supports my music.
God touched my heart to sing in nursing homes and some of the smaller churches where they dont have much music.
I now live in Woodville where we retired, and God has blessed me to sing here for all the nursing homes, 5 times a month. They are truly a blessing.
I have a lady that helps me with the music and the remote and she also does some beautiful poems for them. Her name is Barbara Clegg. She is truly a blessing in my ministry
I now attend the Assembly of God Church in Hillister, where we live. I sing lots of solos there and am truly blessed to hear the word there. My prayer is that others might see Jesus in me thru his songs, for without him i can't sing a (lick).
