In October 1990, Dan and Donnah Welker gave their hearts and lives to Jesus. What an awesome journey it has been and still is today. They felt called into the ministry shortly after that and traveled for the next 5 years as a duet. They are based out of Silsbee, Tx.
They have been married since 1983 and thank God for their home, peace and family.
They founded the southern gospel group,Destiny, and sang for over a decade with different artists in that group.
Their son, Bryan, started playing drums at the age of ten and still plays guitar and sings lead in a Worship Band called Separate.
Daughter Jamee sang harmony with mom and dad, along side her husband, Joe, who played guitar, sang and wrote the groups original music.
In September 2007, being led by God, they took back the original name, the Welker's. Along with Jamee, they formed this new dynamic southern gospel trio.
They are very honored and humbled by this call God has place on their lives and the ministry He has entrusted them to.
Jamee and husband Joe celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary in November 2008. She is the mother of two beautiful boys, Cade and Keeton, who travel with mom when she sings. Cade who is only 5, plays harmonica and sings with the group. Thank God for Joe. Without his support Jamee could not take part in the singing with the group.
